Christopher-Fares Köhler
Born 1987 in Wiesbaden, Germany. Raised in Germany and Jordan. 2009 – 2012 B.A Theater Studies at University of Leipzig. 2012 – 2016 M.A Theater Studies at Free University of Berlin.
Since May 2018 he is Junior Dramaturge (with Focus on the Exil Ensemble) and Artistic Assistant to the Co-Director at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin. He worked in the Dramaturgic Department of the Kammerspiele in Munich), Assistant Dramaturg to Benjamin von Blomberg and as a Dramaturge. 2013 -2015 personal Assistant Dramaturge to Falk Richter (Small Town Boy, Never Forever, etc.)
Since 2014 different works and projects as a Translator: German and Arabic, such as “Iphigenie” (Mohammad Al-Attar) at Volksbühne Berlin, Theater der Welt 2017, and others.
Since 2011 different projects as Director at Theaterdiscounter Berlin and Theater Oberhausen.
