The way we perceive ourselves is shaped by our backgrounds, our friends, families, society, country and its politics. But who do we want to be? What do we long for? Maybe if we speak about what controls and defines us and what even oppresses us we might overcome it?
In this workshop we will be working on a mix of movement and text by using our own stories and personal experiences. We want to come together, talk, move and think about the ideas of ourselves and the places that define us. We are going to work on performative ways to express the conflict between the personal and the collective within a social group.
This event is free of charge.
