Moritz Sauer worked as director’s assistant at Maxim Gorki Theatre until 2017. In October the same year “Queerious – Die Geburt des Vulkans”, written by him and the ensemble, was shown at STUDIO Я, Berlin.

With Johannes von Dassel he founded the collective BR*OTHER ISSUES and with Vernesa Berbo he created “Hauptsache Sie Schiessen Nicht” (Samo da ne Pucaju) a co-production between MESS Festival, Bosnian National Theatre Zenica and STUDIO Я. He lives in Berlin.
