Student – apsolvent nadgrobnog slikarstva svirao je saksofon na jednom mostu. Bio je uzoran student. Pred njim je bila blistava budućnost. Imao je čast nositi najveći trometarski kamen u školu. Putovao je vlakom svako jutro u 3 sata. Nije mu bilo lako visiti iz vlaka i držati trometarski kamen koji nije mogao proći kroz vrata vagona. Nekoliko puta tijekom školovanja on i student – apsolvent ispali su iz vlaka, ali srećom, kamen je ostao čitav...

Živio je u kotlovnici Majorove kuće. Cijevi za grijanje bile su vrlo blizu pa je kišnica koja ga je zalijevala bila uvijek topla. Major je bio dobronamjerni gazda, ali bi ga ljutilo kad bi para bušila cijevi i grijala zrak izvan njegovog stana. Student je bio zahvalan i sretan što u ovakvim vremenima ima tople vode.


Vodoinstalater je komorni balet prema motivima Borisa Viana, crnohumornog francuskog pisca, pjesnika, skladatelja, pjevača, šansonijera, jazz kritičara, inženjera, prevoditelja, pronalazača; uopće – malo je područja u umjetnosti ili znanosti koja Viana nisu zanimala i kojima se nije bavio. Inspirirani Vianovom zbirkom novela 'Mravci' složili smo novu priču; libreto prema kojem će nastati partitura, a prema njoj Vodoinstalater .

Vodoinstalater je potresna priča o mjestima i vremenima koje rat nikada nije zahvatio pa su ona morala zahvatiti njega. To je priča o susjedskim odnosima i povijesti maltretiranja; o vojnicima na konjaku, kurvama u bunilu, o studentima u vodi do koljena i djevojčicama u minskom polju.

Ovaj je balet priča o običnim ljudima koje vianovska percepcija pretvara u čudovišta ili barem čudake. Major, Garamuche i Noemi vjerojatno su mediokriteti koji tek u poimanju Vianovog lika - studenta - apsolventa nadgrobnog klesarstva postaju izopačene karikature.

Vodoinstalater je crni balet. Ne bi mogao biti bijeli jer su i partitura i libreto crni, a humor ovisi o bojama zastave pod kojom se igra.

Student graduate of tombstone masonry played a saxophone on a bridge. He was a model student, bright future ahead of him. He had the honor of carrying the largest 3-meter stone to school. He traveled by train every morning at three o'clock. It wasn't easy for him to hang from the train and hold the 3-meter stone that could not fit through the wagon door. It was few times during the school that he and the student graduate fell from the train, but fortunately the stone remained a whole ...

He lived in a boiler-room of the Major's house. Heating tubes were very close, so rainwater that kept pouring on him was always warm. Major was a good-hearted owner, but he was infuriated when steam was making holes in pipes and so warming up the air outside of his apartment. Student was happy and grateful that in times like this he had running hot water.

The Plumber is a chamber ballet based on Boris Vian's motifs, a black-humour French writer, poet, composer, singer, chansonnier , jazz critic, engineer, translator, inventor; in general - there are few fields of art or science he was not interested and engaged in. Inspired by his collection of novels The Ants , we came up with a new story; libretto as the basis for the score, which born The Plumber .

The Plumber is a shocking story about places and times that were never affected by war, so had to effect the war by themselves. It is a story about neighbours' relations and the history of harassment; about soldiers on Cognac, whores in a delirium, students in water up to their knees and girls in minefield.

This ballet is about normal people turned by Vian's perception into monsters, or at least weirdoes. Major, Garamuche and Noemi are probably mediocrities becoming distorted caricatures only through the perception of Vian's character – a student – on his final year of tombstone masonry.

The Plumber is a black ballet. It could not be white because its score and libretto are black, and the humour depends on colours of a flag under which is performed.

Natalija Manojlović (1978) svoje je plesno obrazovanje započela u glazbenoj školi. Podijeljeni interes za glazbu i ples s vremenom je prevagnuo u korist plesa, a nakon škola za ritmiku i ples svoje iskustvo stjecala je kroz radionice i suradnje s poznatim domaćim i inozemnim redateljima, koreografkinjama i plesačima. Kazališno usavršavanje nastavila je kao suradnica za scenski pokret u predstavama s brojnim kazalištima. Apsolventica je psihologije na Filozofskom Fakultetu i educira se u području plesnog i dramskog pristupa u psihoterapijskim grupama. Aktivno je sudjelovala u projektima Eks scene u samim počecima njenog djelovanja, kao i projektima Kulture promjene SC-a od 2004. Kad govori o svom radu Manojlović ističe da je više orijentirana na dramaturgiju pokreta nego jezik plesa.

Gordan Tudor (1982) višestruko nagrađivani saksofonist, skladateljskim se radom počeo baviti prije desetak godina, a posebno se posvetio skladanju tijekom usavršavanja u Nizozemskoj i Francuskoj. U Amsterdamu i Parizu započeo je studij kompozicije s naglaskom na elektroakustičku glazbu kod mentora Joos Zwanenburga, a za njegovo je stvaralaštvo značajna i inspiriranost Dada pokretom, skladateljima i kinematogafijom; Satie, Milhaud, Schulhoff, Richter, Picabia, Ray, Tzara,... Do sada je skladao za saksofon, komorne ansamble, elektronsku glazbu, kao i glazbu za dokumentarne i animirane filmove te kazališne i plesne predstave. Balet Vodoinstalater mu je prvo glazbeno-scensko djelo. Kad govori o svom radu Tudor ističe da piše suvremenu (ne)ozbiljnu glazbu.

Natalija Manojlović (1978) began her education in dance at a music school. The split interest in music and dance over time tipped in favor of dance, and following the time spent in the School for Rhythm and Dance, she proceeded to gain experience through workshops and co-operation with renowned local and international directors, choreographers and dancers. She continued her theatrical specialization as the assistant for stage movement in shows by a number of theatres. She is a Psychology graduate at the Faculty of Philosophy and continues to educate herself in the field of dance and drama approaches for psycho-therapeutic groups. She actively participated in the very beginnings of the Eks scena and since 2004 with the Kultura promjene SC-a (Student Centre's Culture of Change) projects. Speaking of her work Manojlović points that she is more focused on the dramaturgy of movement than on the language of dance.
